M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor

Yazmine Castaneda

Hi, I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor providing virtual therapy across Texas for adults ages 18 and up in English or Spanish. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are used to carrying everything on your own. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered as you navigate life’s challenges.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. I am especially passionate about supporting clients that are first-generation cycle breakers who may feel pressure to “hold it all together” while balancing family expectations, cultural identity, relationships, work, or school. Therapy can be a space to unlearn survival patterns, set healthier boundaries, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with yourself without guilt.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are returning to continue your healing journey, you deserve a space where you feel safe enough to grow, heal, and be fully yourself.

I offer flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend availability.
