Navigate Grief With Support
Honor your loss, process complex emotions, and learn how to carry love forward while moving toward healing.
Understanding Grief
Grief is a natural emotional response to loss, yet it can be complex and deeply personal. While commonly associated with death, grief may also arise from divorce, infertility, relocation, career changes, or shifts in identity.
Grief affects the whole person emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Individuals may experience waves of sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or longing. Concentration and sleep may also be disrupted.
There is no universal timeline for grief. Some individuals move through intense emotions quickly, while others experience prolonged or complicated grief responses. Social expectations often pressure individuals to “move on,” which can create additional emotional burden.
Healthy grieving involves acknowledging the loss, processing emotions, and gradually integrating the experience into one’s life story.
